In addition to helping clients reframe the discussion in any market ‐ enabling successful new product, service and market entries as well as hindering new competitive entrants ‐ he believes these integrated social, media and influencer relations programs deliver the highest measurable return-on-investment.
Prior to launching AVID Public Relations™, Ed held senior and executive-level marketing positions at global public relations firms and businesses. Most recently, he was the Vice President / Director of Influencer Relations with Ketchum’s New York office.
Ed has helped launch dozens of companies and products; provided marketing support for financial corporate events and garnered industry awards and recognition for his clients. He has gotten his clients coverage in national daily news outlets including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, BusinessWeek, Forbes, Fortune, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, CNBC, NBC, MSNBC, CNN as well as numerous technology, logistics, philanthropic, government and telecommunications publications and analyst reports.
Ed holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts.
Stephen B. Andrews, Senior Vice President
Steve brings more than 20 years of communications, media, management consulting and project management experience to AVID Public Relations™, where he serves as senior vice president for the agency. Prior to joining AVID PR™, Andrews worked with the US Government.
Previously, Steve was a senior vice president and practice leader with Fusion Global Communications. While at Fusion he planned and implemented several business operations changes and help complete a corporate reorganization. In addition to founding and managing the corporate business practice at Fusion, Steve was a member of the executive committee and served as a corporate officer.
Prior to joining Fusion, Steve worked closely with IBM and Genworth Financial, among other clients, at Ketchum Public Relations, a Top-5 global public relations firm. As a vice president, he developed strategic thought leadership opportunities with media and other influential stakeholders within academia, business, consulting and other key constituencies.
Steve has held senior and executive-level positions with AndCom, PepperCom and Andersen Consulting’s TLI Initiative. His clients have included Apple, Dell and GE Capital, among many others.
Steve holds Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Sociology and an MBA from Saint Mary’s University as well as a Bachelor of Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University.
